What if success depends on the number of important conversations you start?

Fellow introverts, geeks, and nerds, I get it. I am one of you. We aren’t like the movers and the shakers who thrive on meeting new people and connecting.

Staring at our screens and focusing on our work and is where we excel. We spend our entire day solving problems using logic and reason.

We are the thinkers, not usually the talkers. We hang back in meetings and wait to speak only when we think it’s important. We loathe small talk and idle chit chat.

But when it comes to taking our lives and careers to the next level, we resist the call. In order to make awesome things happen, we have to connect with other people. A lot of them.

It’s a numbers game.

  • Want to get a new job? Start talking to the people in your network, recruiters, and hiring managers.

  • Want a date? Start talking to people you’re interested in. Ask a lot of them out.

  • Want more sales? Talk to more prospects.

  • Want to build a business? Start talking to potential investors, customers, and clients.

If you’re not constantly talking to new people, you’re not reaching those goals. You might feel stuck and even discouraged sometimes.

Here’s a tool you can use right now to help you feel better about meeting people in general. I created the Goodwill Ambassador Technique to help my clients succeed when meeting new people in any social situation.

After you’ve tried the Goodwill Ambassador Technique, I’d love to hear how it made meeting people easier for you. Then you can head over to www.JasonMiller.coach/call to set up a free call with me. We’ll talk about how boosting your social confidence can help you succeed in life and at work.
